And your form and colour are the way I love them.

And in your life my infinite dreams live.
The lamp of my soul dyes your feet,

译者按：帕伯鲁－聂鲁达（Pablo
Neruda）是智利诗人、革命家，也是南美最伟大的诗人之一，1971年获诺贝尔文学奖。他生于1904年7月12日，于1973年9月23日离世。他的诗以暗喻和象征见长。（照片下载自网络。）这是我首次尝试翻译英文诗，原诗是西语，英文版译自W.S.Merwin的版本。自博客上与浮生欢娱君相遇，便一直折服于她的才华和精湛文字，羨慕之余也想跃跃欲试，浮生君给了一个好建议，从翻译起步。无奈万里长征道阻且长，老狗学新招遥不可及，等到技巧学到手恐怕灭了火花枯了激情，所以决定边学边译，先不管技巧规矩，凭了感觉圆了记忆，算是练脑煽情，以后再去芜存菁。选择译聂鲁达的诗，是因为一向喜欢他的诗，感性的力度加灵性的光芒擦出诗意的火花，那就是聂鲁达。译诗过程充满欢乐，属左右脑并用的过程，既是丰富的形象思维又是精细的抽象思维，尤其在对诗的理解方面。没把握理解的地方得到了大白猫的帮助，多谢了。

译完诗，乘火花还未燃尽，再译一首简单些的歌，选了《重逢有日》。此曲来自电影《齐瓦哥医生》(Dr. Zhivago，David Lean导演的初版），歌词是后来根据电影故事的内容事后再填的。假如说那鲁达的诗属悲情直抒，莫利斯－夏尔（Maurice Jarre）的曲便是对美好时光的缱绻追寻。诗与歌都是感心动情、美好长新。
