I remember you as you were in the last autumn:
White shirt, beige khaki pants
Soft curly hair surrounded by the golden hue from the Autumn Sun.
Steering the wheel with left hand, you waved goodbye to me with right hand.
Then your eyes moved away, gazing forwards afar.
I air-kissed your profile from distance as you drove away;
Seeing beyond your eyes,
The sky clear without clouds but only the color of blue
After minutes and many hours, we joined together in the digital world
From the two ends of the Earth, chatting and laughing,
Combing through each other's happenstance since
along with our longings
For each other from pieces and bits of what we miss
Then came the autumn typhoon lingering to stay
For 48 hours burning our hearts into anxiety
Finally, I heard your voice again
In cheerful mood we looked forward to being united
The digital reading showed: in five days
The rings tore the quiet night sky
The digit spoke out: only four hours had passed since our last talk
In a daze, I crossed two continents ……
You were quietly asleep there
Digits surrounded you
But hid the key of the only 24 hours remaining
A sleepless night
From time to time I whispered to let you know how much I missed you
The morning came;
In serene moments,
I read for you the three of your favorite poems by Robert Frost:
'The Road Not Taken', you liked it by telling me with your moving eyelids
'Stopping by Woods on A Snowy Evening', you seemed not to care
'Nothing Gold Can Stay', your eyelids were lightened up again.
Afternoon, the sound of people, footsteps and paper flipping,
My whispering voice, soaked in tear glands, mingled with
Your eyelids: flickering slightly, turning red, then full of tears
Flowing from your eye corners,
The tears of yours, mine, and ours,
Converged in our hearts on this late autumn day,
Carved in the last autumn: Our eternity of this life
Outside window, the autumn leaves in light purple, deep red and golden
In wind had slowly and gradually fallen
In the clear and cool air Wind drove us
Wave by wave the rustling sound of wind
Was telling the moments of our rendezvous
Recalling in memory of our shared life
Ah! Remember,
I remember you as you were in the last autumn --

早晨来临;
